Christina Economides, MD
Dr. Economides received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed fellowships in cardiovascular Medicine at the UCLA/VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System/Olive View UCLA Medical Center, and Interventional Cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital/Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Economides is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Economides has published numerous articles in peer review journals and presented at national cardiovascular meetings. Her professional interests include cardiovascular disease in women, prevention of vascular access complications and radial artery catheterization, peripheral vascular disease, preservation of vascular access in dialysis patients, and patient quality outcomes research. Dr. Christina Economides is a member of the Los Angeles Cardiology Associates.

Katrine Zhiroff, MD
Dr. Zhiroff finished her undergraduate degree with summa cum laude at UCLA and went on to receive her MD degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine and cardiology training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and continued her subspecialty training in cardiovascular interventions in the Good Samaritan and Harbor UCLA fellowship program. Dr. Zhiroff has received numerous excellence and teaching awards. Her professional interests include novel approaches in endovascular technologies for treatment of peripheral disease and percutaneous treatment of chronic diseases of the venous system. Dr. Zhiroff has joined a busy interventional practice with Los Angeles Cardiology Associates.

Christina Craigo, N.P.
Christina Light Craigo earned her B. S. and Masters of Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University. She has worked for Los Angeles Cardiology Associates since 2005 and focuses on electrophysiology. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Graduate Nursing and preceptors nurse practitioner students and medical students. She is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society and has recently served as president of the California Associates of Nurse Practitioners West Los Angeles Chapter.

On Saturday, January 11, 2014 the Hellenic Society of Constantinople will hold its annual Gala at the Wilshire Country Club. This will be the 47th consecutive year for the organization's main event which will honor the Mrs. Elisavet Fotiadou, the Consul General of Greece in Los Angeles.

The cost of the ticket is one hundred and twenty five dollars and checks may be made payable to The Hellenic Society of Constantinople. The goal of the Gala is to raise funds for charity organizations of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Cocktails 5:30 pm - Dinner 6:30 pm
